The induction commenced with a warm welcome from Mr. Ramari Booi, the Managing Director of Khano HR Solutions. Mr Booi emphasized the importance of such programs in supporting the career growth of young professionals. He highlighted Khano HR Solutions' dedication to enhancing employability through strategic partnerships and tailored initiatives.
Amangwane Investments participation highlighted the importance of industry-specifications skills and the need for professionals with knowledge to excel in their field of study. The national skill Fund ensured the program was aligned with national standards, offering participants essential, high demand skills and a holistic learning experience.
Mrs. Lindiwe Manqele, one of the Managing Directors of Amangwane Investments and the facilitator of the induction, provided a detailed briefing to the new interns. Mrs. Manqele explained the role and objectives of the National Skill Fund, emphasizing its dedication to enhancing skill development across the nation. She also outlined the expectations for the interns, providing them with a clear understanding of their responsibilities and the opportunities available to them.
She advised them to grasp as much knowledge as they can in the workplace that they are deployed to, so that when the contract comes to an end, the knowledge they gathered can come in handy in their future endeavours.
Ms. Zothando Dlamini, the project manager at Amangwane investment delivered an inspiring and insightful keynote address. She focused on the critical issues of depression and anxiety, highlighting their impact on young professionals. She shared her personal experiences and urged the newly appointed interns to speak up and seek help whenever they feel stressed. "Depression is real, and it's important to talk about it," she emphasized, encouraging open communication and mental health awareness among the participants.
