In the chaotic streets of San Georges, known for their chaos, women bring change to the fast food kitchen. Nonhlanhla Magcaleka( 31) is the business owner of Chilla Nathi Kitchen. Since 2013 she has been running Chilla Nathi Kitchen.
San Georges is located in the center of the city of Durban Central, San Georges is known for its crime and chaos. Chilla Nathi Kitchen brings light to the by serving different watering-mouth dishes. Nonhla Magcileka explains her love, for cooking is beyond doing business but it's her first love. '' The reason why, I have started this lovely kitchen is because I love cooking, and I know how to cook, that all I can say is I started this business was coming from my heart, not because I was just doing it, but for the sake of doing it,'' she said
Nonhlanhla mentioned that she comes from a background family that loves cooking, as they have catering businesses in her home. Since she was young with her relatives cooking has been their first love as a family. She has overcome many challenges in the business since she started, She explains that she was having a shortfall in money to rent, as she is renting.
'' I didn't have enough money to pay rent, but luckily to God my clients who owed me, paid me the money and I was able to open Chilla Nathi Fast Food kitchen.'' she said
Zinhle Mpungose is currently the employer at Chilla Nathi Fast Food Kitchen, who was employed by Nonhlanhla Magcaleka as the cheflearned, for Chila Nathi Kitchen. Zinhle explains that she is the luckiest person to work with Nonhlanhla as she is treated with a heart of Gold, '' I have arrived i 2022 in Chilla Nathi Family, when Sis Nonhlanhla took me in, as someone who was granted the opportunity to work here, I have learn a lot, first of all, she treats other people well, She taught me to always love other people, serve food with a smile.
Nonhlanhla advice to someone who want to start their own business, they should be confidence and believe in themselves that they can do it , and make things happen. '' If you don't believe i n yourself you can not start a business , another thing I can say you don't start at the top but you need to start down to the top.'' she said. Chilla Nathi fast food is visited by different people , even celebrities comes to taste the food from Nohlanhla's Chilla Nathi Fast food kitchen.
